About the Tour
Travel to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans to explore, remember, and reflect on World War II through exclusive access to the Museum’s campus. This special commemorative tour includes four nights at The Higgins Hotel, private guided tours, a comprehensive meal plan, and admission to the Patton: Man of War Symposium.
Offering a detailed look at General George S. Patton—one of World War II's most famous and controversial commanders—this two-day symposium features discussions with scholars and expert historians as they debate Patton's life, influential service to our nation, and legacy in the postwar world.
The lineup of scholars includes Nathan C. Jones, Jon Mikolashek, Greg Fontenot, and more discussing topics like "Patton's Shadow: The Making of a Hero in Modern Memory"; "Blood, Guts, and Grease: Patton in World War I"; and "Making Patton: A Classic War Film's Epic Journey to the Silver Screen".
