Spark your child's love of history with our 
WWII-themed storytime experience.

Explore the war that changed the world through a unique storytime experience!

Join us most Tuesdays and Saturdays to spark your child's love of history with WWII-themed children's books plus fun activities and crafts for kids ages 3 to 8.

Storytime is FREE and open to the public! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

September: Animals of World War II 

  • Featured Book: Major the Soldier Dog by Trevor Jones
  • Families will make dog hero badges

October: Supporting the War at Home 

  • Featured Book: Jesse: Queen of the Road by Lindsay Ward
  • Families will design their own license plates

November: Quiet Bravery 

  • Featured Book: The Whispering Town by Jennifer Elvgren
  • Families will make heart stones out of clay

December: Celebrating the Holidays with a WWII Veteran Author 

  • Featured Book: Charlie Brown Christmas by Charles M. Schulz
  • Families will decorate their own Christmas trees
