Each year, families across the New Orleans and Gulf Coast community are invited to The National WWII Museum for a day of live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and full Museum access.

Plus, explore our campus and see why The National WWII Museum is one of the top attractions in the city—and country.

Museum and Block Party admission is FREE for all visitors thanks to the generosity of Timber and Peggy Floyd.

    Make Your Mark! Metal Art Luminary Workshop

    In conjunction with the Museum’s newest special exhibit, SOLDIER | ARTIST: Trench Art in World War II, this program allows you to create your own punched copper luminary, joining the long legacy of making trench art, a type of folk art created by soldiers dating back to the 1800s.

    Scout Week

    Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Scouts BSA, and beyond have their own week at The National WWII Museum, with free admission to every Scout in uniform and reduced cost for family members. On these days, scouts can tour our exhibits and galleries and enjoy a variety of exciting activities designed just for them.
