Explore the war that changed the world through a unique storytime experience!

Join us most Tuesdays and Saturdays to spark your child's love of history with WWII-themed children's books plus fun activities and crafts for kids ages 3 to 8.

Storytime is FREE and open to the public! Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

October: Books Written by WWII Veterans: Halloween Edition 

  • Featured Book: It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown by Charles M. Shulz
  • Families will create their own pumpkin suncatchers! 

November: Jazz Music in World War II 

  • Featured Book: Mama Mabel’s All-Gal Big Band Jazz Extravaganza by Annie Sieg
  • Families will build their own instruments and start their own band! 

December: Christmas in World War II

  • Featured Book: The Christmas Doll by Amy Sparkes
  • Families will design their own snowflake ornaments!
