About the Tour

Travel to The National WWII Museum in New Orleans to explore, remember, and reflect on World War II through exclusive access to the Museum’s campus. This special commemorative tour includes four nights at The Higgins Hotel, private guided tours, a comprehensive meal plan, and admission to the “Like a Thunderbolt from the Skies”: Airborne Forces in World War II Symposium.

Prices* include four nights at The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, registration for “Like a Thunderbolt from the Skies”: Airborne Forces in World War II Symposium, private guided tours, and a comprehensive meal plan:

  • $2,350 per person double occupancy
  • $2,950 per person single occupancy 

*$129 per person taxes and fees are additional.

Arrive at The National WWII Museum and Higgins Hotel in New Orleans* / Private viewing of Beyond All Boundaries / Welcome Reception at Kushner Restoration Pavilion with historian from the Jenny Craig Institute for the Study of War and Democracy / Dinner and evening at leisure 

Accommodations: The Higgins Hotel (R)

*If flying, please schedule to arrive at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) no later than 3:00 p.m.


Day 2

Thursday, February 25

Breakfast at The Higgins Hotel / Early-Access Home Front Guided Tour / Out of the Vault experience / Lunchtime Lecture with a Museum historian / Uncorking History: Wine Pairing Dinner

Day 3

Friday, February 26
