Join us in partnership with the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans for a morning of sensory friendly fun at The National WWII Museum! Enjoy FREE early admission to the entire Museum campus with advance registration, as well as family-friendly activities and crafts all tied to our new exhibit, Drawn to Combat: Bill Mauldin and the Art of War, including live sketch workshops conducted by local artist Eren K Wilson. Modifications will be made to make the Museum more sensory friendly, including reduced volume in several exhibits.
Schedule of Events
Louisiana Memorial Pavilion
- 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Family-friendly activities and interactive Hands on History display
- 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.: A cappella performance by the Victory Belles
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Storytime at the Museum (every 20 minutes on the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion Stage)
- 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Live Sketch Workshop with Eren Wilson (every 15 minutes in Favrot Auditorium)
