Join The National WWII Museum's Educational Travel Team for an overview of Landing Beaches to Liberation: The Battle of Normandy and Seine River Cruise, a unique tour that explores the D-Day invasion of Normandy then cruises the Seine River into the heart of Paris set for October 26 to November 3, 2025. Featured historian William I. Hitchcock, PhD, and Director of Educational Travel Program Operations Darsey Williams will discuss this captivating journey and voyage featuring an itinerary filled with WWII locations—from lesser-known sites available exclusively to the Museum’s travel programs to iconic landmarks steeped in heroism and history.

With luxury accommodations at world-class châteaux in the heart of Normandy and aboard the exclusively chartered Uniworld SS Joie de Vivre, this one-of-a-kind journey highlights the beauty, culture, and history of the French region. Renowned WWII historians Hitchcock and Michael Neiberg, PhD, travel alongside guests, providing interesting insight into the places visited through a custom lecture series and on-location commentary.
