Explore the war that changed the world through a unique storytime experience!

Join us to spark your child's love of history with WWII-themed children's books plus fun activities and crafts for kids ages 3 to 8. Check out this month’s theme, book, and activity here.

January: Holocaust Remembrance Month

  • Featured Book: The Whispering Town by Jennifer Elvgren
  • Families will create their own unique model magic clay hearts.

Storytime is included with Museum admission. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of the program.

    Make Your Mark! Metal Art Luminary Workshop

    In conjunction with the Museum’s newest special exhibit, SOLDIER | ARTIST: Trench Art in World War II, this program allows you to create your own punched copper luminary, joining the long legacy of making trench art, a type of folk art created by soldiers dating back to the 1800s.
