Lew Shulman presents "15 Days: Peleliu"

In the 1940s, Jordan "Doc" Winer enlisted and trained to be a Pharmacist Mate/Corpsman. Along with his unit—the famed 1st Marine Division—he participated in the attack on the island of Peleliu during the incursion that became known as the “Battle of Bloody Nose Ridge” in September 1944. After his passing in 1997, Jordan Winer’s family discovered a diary.
