Purple Heart | FROM THE COLLECTION
Curator Cory Graff tells us the story this Purple Heart, which will be on display at The National WWII Museum’s newly expanded and reimagined Fighting for the Right to Fight: African American Experiences in World War II special exhibition. This exhibit honors the significant role more than two million Black servicemembers and Home Front workers played in securing Allied victory, even as they faced discrimination.
