D-Day Letters | FROM THE COLLECTION

D-Day Letters | FROM THE COLLECTION

Kim Guise, Senior Curator & Director of Curatorial Affairs at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans, and archivist Laura Frizzell dive into the Museum's collection on the 80th Anniversary of D-Day to tell us the stories of men from D-Day through their own letters home. Some of these letters would be their last.

These personal letters are just a small part of The National WWII Museum’s vast collection – but they serve as a lasting human connection to the Second World War, and a reminder that archival materials still have incredible new stories to tell 80 years later.
