WWII veteran Paul Hilliard shares memories of his wartime experiences and how they shaped his life in Louisiana after the war’s conclusion, when he built a successful career in the oil-and-gas industry.

Each year, on Veterans Day, we commemorate veterans and their service to our country—and, in turn, all veterans receive free Museum admission on this special occasion. WWII veterans receive free admission every day to Museum exhibit galleries, Beyond All Boundaries and Final Mission: USS Tang Submarine Experience.
