Educator Advisory Council

The National WWII Museum’s Educator Advisory Council (EAC) is a professional learning community of teachers who help influence curricula and educational initiatives offered by the Museum.

EAC members have the opportunity to:

  • Review/pilot/write curricula
  • Assist with student programs (evaluating Writing Contest submissions, reviewing History Day projects, etc.)
  • Review/pilot/participate in programs such as virtual field trips and webinars
  • Advocate on behalf of the Museum through educational interactions, social media, etc.
  • And much more

Additionally, local EAC members will be able to:

  • Volunteer for professional development sessions and other programs
  • Judge Louisiana History Day
  • Review/beta-test field trip–related activities 
  • And much more

Members will receive yearly gifts in appreciation of their time and advice.

Applications are open to educators from kindergarten through college, representing all school types and geographic locations. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 27.
