Join The National WWII Museum's Educational Travel Team and featured tour historian Alexandra Richie, DPhil, for an overview of What They Fought Against: Scars of the Nazi War Machine, a poignant journey through Germany and Poland memorializing those who suffered under Nazi oppression while honoring the Allied efforts that contributed to the Third Reich’s downfall. There are just a handful of spaces left on the upcoming August 2026 tour—and this journey only departs once per year.

With an impactful itinerary curated by Richie, this tour delves into some fascinating aspects of the war that are seldom explored by American travelers. Hear the stories of prisoners at the Neuengamme concentration camp near Hamburg, explore the battlefields where Polish and Soviet forces fought fiercely against German defenses, and see where American officers were held as prisoners of war at Oflag 64. The journey concludes in Warsaw with visits to Pawiak Prison, the Katyń Museum, and Treblinka.

This webinar will stream at 12:00 p.m. CT on March 4, 2026. Please register in advance to receive an event reminder.
