Join The National WWII Museum as it opens its latest special exhibition, Degenerate! Hitler’s War on Modern Art. This traveling exhibit, originally created by and on loan from the Jewish Museum Milwaukee, examines the Nazi campaign against modern art and music and features more than 65 works by artists deemed “degenerate” by the Third Reich.
The opening event will feature a panel discussion with Molly Dubin, Curator from the Jewish Museum of Milwaukee, and David Kunian, Curator of Music from the New Orleans Jazz Museum, in conversation with Erin Clancey, Associate Vice President of Collections and Exhibits at The National WWII Museum.
Degenerate! will be on display from November 6, 2025, through May 6, 2026, in the Museum’s Senator John Alario, Jr. Special Exhibition Hall.
A reception from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. will precede the event and feature a live performance by Panorama Jazz Band. The exhibit will be open for viewing before and after the presentation.
