Join The National WWII Museum for the second Ration Wars—a fast-paced, Iron Chef-style, WWII-themed cooking competition. Cohosted by journalist and actress Casey Ferrand and NOPSI Hotel Executive Chef Neal Swidler, the competition will feature a clash of two New Orleans chefs.
Team One is led by Chef Natasha St. Pierre Clement. Born and raised where the sugarcane sweetens the crawfish tails, she was a former contestant on Master Chef season six and winner of the Food Network’s All-Star Academy season two under the tutelage of Chef Robert Irvine. Chef Natasha is a private chef and owner of the LaPlace-based catering company Sophisticated Southern Plates. She will be teaming up with New Orleans-born, Ascension Parish-raised Chef Amy Sins. Amy is the chef and owner of the New Orleans “culinary entertainment” company Langlois.
Phil Hare, Chef at Uptown New Orleans eatery Beaucoup Eats, will helm Team Two. Run by Hare and US Marine Corps veteran Corie Reed, Beaucoup Eats is known for its Creole comfort cuisine.
The competition will be judged by Executive Chef Jeremie Janise of The American Sector Restaurant & Bar joined by historian Charles Chamberlain, PhD, and Harriet Robin of the New Orleans School of Cooking.
Tickets are $10.
