Jackson Square French Quarter

Visiting the Museum from the French Quarter

Experience two iconic New Orleans destinations

Welcome to New Orleans!

From our world-famous culinary and music scenes to our centuries-old neighborhoods and must-see museums, the Crecent City offers experiences and attractions you won’t find anywhere else.

Among the most popular stops for visitors are the French Quarter, the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans, and The National WWII Museum, the city’s #1 attraction, in the Arts & Warehouse District. Luckily, these two destinations are located just blocks from each other, making it easy to experience both in the same day or weekend.

Planning Your Visit

You can plan your Museum visit while still exploring the Quarter at the Museum Tickets & Information Center located at 507 St. Ann Street in the historic Lower Pontalba Building on Jackson Square, steps away from Cafe du Monde.

This partnership between The National WWII Museum and the Louisiana State Museum is a great way for French Quarter visitors to discover and purchase tickets to some of New Orleans’s top world-class museums and cultural attractions.
