About the Symposium
The National WWII Museum is proud to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Band of Brothers with a special two-day symposium featuring members of the cast and creative team behind HBO's epic miniseries.
Based on Museum Founder Stephen Ambrose's best-selling book chronicling the history of "Easy" Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division, Band of Brothers was brought to life onscreen in 2001 by creators and executive producers Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg. The 10-part series captivated millions, earning widespread acclaim for its authenticity and emotional power. Now, 25 years later, Band of Brothers continues to inspire a global audience, reminding us of the ordinary men who accomplished the extraordinary in the crucible of war.
At the symposium, guests will enjoy behind-the-scenes insights from the actors, exclusive stories about the making of the series, and the chance to hear firsthand accounts from the real Easy Company veterans through preserved oral histories. A highlight of the celebration will be a meet-and-greet and signing session with the cast members, whose lives have been forever changed by these roles.
