Along with our regular programming, the Museum produces and hosts special galas and events each year. From air shows to black-tie affairs, we run the gamut. See our upcoming special events below:
Drafts for Crafts
For the last five years, the Museum has partnered with the Young Benefactors to create a night full of generosity and good times. In 2016, Drafts for Crafts helped fund the final push in the decade-long restoration of PT-305, The National WWII Museum’s WWII combat-veteran patrol-torpedo boat. In 2017, we were thrilled to celebrate the relaunch of this signature macro-artifact, as PT-305 returned to Lake Pontchartrain for her first year back on the water.
WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival
This October, The National WWII Museum, Commemorative Air Force, and Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation come together for the fifth straight year of celebrating WWII aircraft. The WWII Air, Sea & Land Festival presents the best of past AirPower Expo celebrations along with an expanded roster of entertainment, food, drink, and soaring aircraft. Don’t miss it—October 12–14 at New Orleans Lakefront Airport.
