Join Assistant Director of Curatorial Services Kim Guise for a very special discussion with WWII Veteran and former POW Jim Baynham. Jim served as a B-24 pilot with the 445th Bombardment Group. On September 27, 1944, Baynham’s plane was shot down during the raid on Kassel, Germany, and he was captured as a POW. Baynham spent seven months in Stalag Luft I and will recount and reflect on where he was 75 years ago on V-E Day as he journeyed to meet up with American troops.

This webinar is part of regular programming commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II made possible by Bank of America.
