Maggie Hartley is a museum educator who is passionate about engaging audiences of all ages with history and veterans’ experiences. She is currently the Assistant Director of Public Engagement at The National WWII Museum, and previously worked at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Virginia. In her spare time, she volunteers with Central and Southwest Virginia Honor Flight, which she cofounded in 2018, by escorting veterans to Washington DC to see their memorials and is often found exploring new museums. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education degree in Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a Masters of Art in History and a Bachelor in Science in Social Sciences from Liberty University.
