Designated by Congress in 2004 as America’s National WWII Museum, we remember these special dates, commemorating the fallen and honoring the WWII generation who helped preserve the freedom we enjoy today.
Volunteerism is a core value at The National WWII Museum. We're honored to have the assistance of hundreds of talented and dedicated volunteers. Since our opening in 2000, our generous Volunteer Corps has contributed over 800,000 hours of their time in service to the Museum.
