Shortly removed from Prohibition and with a growing hatred of all things Germans, the United States began a relationship with beer and breweries that lasts still today.

Two years after the renowned historian began planning a war museum and eight years before The National D-Day Museum opened, Ambrose delivered a lecture, “New Orleans in the Second World War.” 

The National WWII Museum is seeking the most talented singers from across the region to compete for a grand prize of $1,000. The five-week competition will feature performances of the greatest hits of the war years for local celebrity judges.
