Celebrate the incredible stories of Rosie the Riveter and Wendy the Welder with BB's Stage Door Canteen's newest original show.

Among the Museum's collection are many stories of those who did not return, like PFC Darrel “Happy” Neil, killed in action on July 7, 1944 in France.

In 1943, a Mexican artist in New Orleans sculpted a statue of a Woman Reservist (United States Marine Corps) named Molly Marine. Displayed on Canal Street, she can still be found in the city today.

The Monuments Men Foundation today announced that its collection will have a new home at The National WWII Museum in New Orleans.

October 26 marks the National Day of the Deployed. The day honors all servicemembers who have been deployed in the service of the United States. It also honors the sacrifices their families have made during deployments.
