COVID-19 NOTICE
Due to increased uncertainty regarding travel restrictions for the remainder of the calendar year, the 2020 International Conference on World War II has been rescheduled from November 2020, to March 4-6, 2021. We are committed to adhering to social distancing guidelines as well as strict sanitation protocols, and have reduced the capacity for our conferences and symposia this year. The safety of our guests is our top priority and we will provide specific details on what to expect to registrants prior to the conference.
Please note, we do anticipate hosting the 2021 International Conference on World War II in November 2021.
When most people think of June 1944, they immediately think: D-Day. The 2019 International Conference on World War II, “June 1944: The Month that Changed the World,” will be a global exploration of that most pivotal month. The Conference sessions will take place in a sequence that best tells the story of the entire month and its effects, and new works and research will be presented by leading scholars in the field. The pre-Conference Symposium, “Eisenhower: The Monumental Man,” will explore the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe and 34th President of the United States in-depth as Americans look forward to the May 2020 unveiling of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial in Washington, DC.
