Higgins Hotel Exterior
The Hotel will be located on The National WWII Museum’s campus at the corner of Andrew Higgins Drive and Magazine Street. Scheduled for completion in 2019, the property will operate as part of the exclusive Curio Collection by Hilton, one of Hilton’s 14 market-leading brands.

In addition to 230 guest rooms, The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center, designed by renowned architects Nichols Brosch Wurst Wolfe & Associates from Coral Gables, Florida, will offer guests the unique experience of full-service hotel accommodations with a convenient way to maximize their time at the Museum.
The Higgins Hotel is inspired by the war era and will feature a striking art deco style designed by interior design firm Kay Lang + Associates.
The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center will offer sophisticated dining facilities that enhance all guest experiences. Each restaurant and bar, including a rooftop experience overlooking New Orleans, will carry its own unique identity with custom furnishings and interior design elements that evoke the spirit and times of the 1940s.
The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center offers guests upscale accommodations, including three VIP suites. Guests can choose from the Roosevelt Presidential Suite, Eisenhower Suite or the Truman Suite. Additionally, the Hotel will offer eight one-bedroom suites and 25 junior suites.
The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center’s centerpiece will be a second-floor conference center with more than 18,000 square feet of meeting space, including a sophisticated boardroom and five meeting rooms bearing names related to the content and themes of World War II. The vast meeting space will allow the Museum to expand its offerings of conferences, symposia and student and teacher residential programs.
On December 8, The National WWII Museum celebrated the groundbreaking of The Higgins Hotel & Conference Center. The 230-room Hotel, which is scheduled for completion in 2019, will support the Museum’s expanding educational programs while offering guests the unique experience of full-service hotel accommodations with a convenient way to maximize their time at the Museum.
