Storytelling and Mixed Media Camp

Let your imagination run wild as you develop your own stories through mixed media at The National WWII Museum’s Storytelling and Mixed Media Camp! Campers will explore how storytelling and media impacted World War II from the American Home Front and create their own stories and videos using the Museum as a backdrop.

Registration opens online for all Museum Members on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. and to non-members on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.

Registration Fees:

$245 per camper/week

Times:

  • Drop-off between 8:45 a.m. and 8:55 a.m.
  • Pick-up at 3:00 p.m.

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Details:

  • Drop-off for campers will be between 8:45 a.m. and 8:55 a.m. at the bus entrance to Louisiana Memorial Pavilion on Magazine Street. Museum staff will greet your child and accompany them to the classroom camp area.
  • Pick-up for campers will be between 3:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. A car line pick-up will be used at the bus entrance to Louisiana Memorial Pavilion on Magazine Street (a map will be provided prior to the start of the camp session). Families will be given a tag to display in their front windshield to identify their camper. If a child needs to be picked up early or misses the car line pick-up window, the child’s family must park and come inside the Museum.
  • Campers must be signed out by a parent or guardian; no camper will be allowed to leave the Museum unaccompanied at the end of the camp day.
