The incomparable Louis Armstrong transformed American popular music, bringing the vibrant sounds of jazz from the streets of New Orleans to the world stage.

In Swing That Music: A Tribute to Louis Armstrong, Preservation Hall master trumpeter and Grammy nominee Wendell Brunious celebrates Satchmo’s life and lasting impact. Through timeless music, captivating storytelling, and unique personal insight, he follows Armstrong’s journey from his humble beginnings in the Big Easy to his rise as an international superstar and ambassador of jazz.  

Accompanied by veteran pianist Tom Hook and a band of Crescent City musicians, Brunious honors the legendary icon whose groundbreaking artistry forever changed the landscape of music.
