945 Magazine St, New Orleans, LA 70130
World War II wasn’t just fought on the battlefield—it was also waged in the shadows by secret agents and spies from every side of the conflict. As a major port city, New Orleans became home to a German espionage network that clashed with FBI agents and local law enforcement in the tense years before Pearl Harbor. Join Museum Senior Historian Bradley W. Hart for an evening of 1940s-inspired New Orleans cuisine and cocktails, and uncover the hidden stories of Hitler’s spies, Hoover’s G-men, and the high-stakes espionage operations that played out right here in the Crescent City.
Dinner with a Curator is an evening of dinner and history hosted by The American Sector Restaurant & Bar culinary team and Museum professionals. Guests participate in discussion on a featured topic related to World War II, which is interpreted through the Museum's collection and a theme-inspired three-course dinner paired with beverage specials. Ticket sales end 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
