Camaraderie and shared experiences during World War II led to the formation of many unique groups and exclusive yet unofficial clubs, which often had strange and oddly specific criteria for membership. Join Museum Associate Curator Chase Tomlin to learn how groups like the Goldfish Club and the Royal Order of Whale Bangers provided solace, humor, and a much-needed sense of community for Allied servicemembers facing the perils of war.

Dinner with a Curator is an evening of dinner and history hosted by The American Sector Restaurant & Bar culinary team and Museum professionals. Guests participate in discussion on a featured topic related to World War II, which is interpreted through the Museum's collection and a theme-inspired three-course dinner paired with beverage specials. Ticket sales end 48 hours prior to the start of the event.
