Learn about Dr. Seuss's role in the war through his political cartoons and the hidden messages in some of his most famous children's books. In the session, students will analyze one of Dr. Seuss's 1942 cartoons and analyze how it influenced the public during World War II. Then, a Museum educator will review the World War II themes in Horton Hears a Who, The Sneetches, and Yertle the Turtle. Appropriate for grades 6–12 and ages 12 and up.
