The Rise and Fall of Hitler's Germany Tour (May 18 start)
Featuring noted historian Dr. Alexandra Richie, The National WWII Museum's exclusive 12-day trip explores Germany and Poland through the lens of the rise and fall of the Third Reich.
The National WWII Museum’s most popular tour provides an in-depth itinerary exploring America’s most famous WWII battle.
We're sorry, these tickets are no longer available.
Fall in with the Allies on this in-depth tour through the Normandy countryside, along the quiet, pastoral coastlines that were once the site of WWII’s most significant battle.
Based in the ancient city of Bayeux, the first city liberated by the Allies via the Normandy campaign, each day of the tour offers guided day trips into the surrounding area. Visit the Musée Airborne, the Utah Beach Museum, Mémorial de Caen and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, alongside lesser-known monuments to heroism. Step inside a church where US medics treated both American and German soldiers, or sit side-by-side with tour companions for a communal lunch overlooking the sea.
This tour is designed for the enthusiast in search of the most authentic experience of rustic Normandy. Guests will fly into Paris, with all transportation to tour sites provided by locally licensed operators.

Memorial Day at the Museum
This Memorial Day, we highlight four men from the U.S. Weather Bureau who answered the call to action without hesitation, without thought of personal gain or recognition and knowing full well that in doing so they might make the ultimate sacrifice. Lester Fodor, Luther Brady, George Kubach, and Edward Weber volunteered for duty in 1942 as civilian weather observers aboard the US Coast Guard Cutter Muskeget, and after several days of sending out coded messages containing vital weather observations essential to safe navigation by vessels containing troops, fuel, munitions, and supplies, went down with the ship.
We honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in one of the world’s darkest hours. This year, Lester Fodor, Luther Brady, George Kubach, and Edward Weber, awarded a Purple Heart in 2015 after the discovery of the U-755 logs that confirmed its sinking of their ship, will be added to the site. Visit www.mymemorialday.org for more stories.
