The morning panel will be moderated by historian Gaines Foster, PhD, of Louisiana State University. Panelists include Maureen Honey, PhD, University of Nebraska-Lincoln; Sharlene Sinegal-DeCuir, PhD, Xavier University; and Samuel Zemurray Stone Senior Historian Rob Citino. They will discuss the legacy of WWII on the United States and Louisiana’s unique wartime heritage.
