Emphasizing the fight for a “Double Victory” against fascism abroad and racism at home, this groundbreaking exhibit explores the challenges faced by and accomplishments of African Americans before, during, and after World War II.

In addition to preserving your historic objects it is important to remember to preserve the history or story that goes with them. For example the uniform worn by your father when he fought in the Pacific is just a uniform if the story is lost.
Our collection consists of objects ranging in size from tiny uniform buttons to large military aircraft. Our donors understand that as America’s WWII Museum, we will be a resource to researchers and educators for generations to come.
