The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, in partnership with The National WWII Museum, will present a Veterans Day evening concert honoring those who have served in the United States Armed Forces. “Honoring our Heroes,” presented by Morgan Stanley, features the world premiere of “Dreams of the Fallen,” a compelling new composition for piano, chorus and orchestra, by award-winning composer Jake Runestad.

Inaugural WWII AirPower Expo a Soaring Success!
The National WWII Museum’s first-ever WWII AirPower Expo, in partnership with the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), was an unqualified success. More than 10,000 visitors came to the Lakefront Airport over the weekend to climb inside restored planes, including a B-17, C-45, and the world’s only flying B-29. Visitors were also able to speak with the veterans who flew iconic WWII aircraft.
