Admission is FREE for teachers and other education professionals. We'll have two new exhibits to share: The Arsenal of Democracy: The Herman and George R. Brown Salute to the Home Front, and our newest special exhibit, The Pelican State Goes to War: Louisiana in World War II, presented by The Alta and John Franks Foundation. In this documentary, 11 WWII veterans from Carrier Air Group 11 share stories with the grandson of their fellow airman. Discover personal stories from Guadalcanal to the USS Hornet, told entirely by the surviving veterans—in their own words.
