The Museum is proud to present a special screening of the new Discovery Channel documentary Apocalypse ‘45 to conclude its programming commemorating the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Apocalypse ‘45 recounts the end of World War II. With never before seen restored footage and the voices of 24 men who lived through these events, this timely documentary highlights the experiences of the last of the Greatest Generation.

Following the screening there will be a panel discussion on the film and the ending of the war featuring the Museum’s own Rob Citino, filmmaker Erik Nelson, and best-selling author and Pacific War historian Ian Toll.  They will be joined by Hershel “Woody” Williams, one of the two last surviving WWII Medal of Honor recipients, who received his Medal of actions performed on Iwo Jima.
