Location: US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center

Decorated military photographer and disabled combat veteran Stacy Pearsall will be taking complimentary individual photographs of veterans as part of her Veterans Portrait Project from 10 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. July 23 in US Freedom Pavilion: The Boeing Center. Pearsall served as an aerial combat photojournalist from 1998 until 2008 when an injury sustained while serving in Iraq in 2007 ultimately ended her career. During her postwar recovery, Pearsall set a goal to photograph veterans from every state. Since then, she has traveled to 32 states and created free portraits of more than 7,500 veterans.

Local veterans now have the opportunity to have a professional portrait they can proudly display and share with their loved ones and friends. In addition, their portrait will join the growing collection of portraits online at www.VeteransPortraitProject.com and may also be featured in a future exhibit similar to the shows Pearsall presently has on display in several locations across the country.

Portrait session appointments are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Reserve a portrait session here.
