The National WWII Museum and New Orleans Fashion Week present an evening of 1940s fashion with a modern twist. Assistant Director for Curatorial Services Kimberly Guise will discuss aspects of wartime fashion, highlighting unique pieces from the Museum’s collection—including a Burberry-made American Red Cross uniform and items sewn from parachute silk. The evening will be capped off with a show of vintage-inspired fashions from the Museum Store and a performance by the Victory Belles.
Tickets are $35 per person, $25 for Museum Members.
