November 24, 2010 (New Orleans, LA) – The Museum of Jewish Heritage’s award-winning exhibition, Ours to Fight For: American Jews in the Second World War, is now on display at The National World War II Museum in New Orleans through April 24, 2011.

Between 1933 and 1945, the Nazi regime persecuted Roma across Europe, killing over 250,000 Romani people and sterilizing around 2,500.

On February 3, 1945, the US Army sent over 800 Black women overseas to England aboard the SS Ile de France. Their mission was unknown to them.
