Jennifer Waxman

Archives Manager

Jennifer Waxman, born and raised in New Orleans, joined The National WWII Museum as the Archives Manager in 2015. Prior to the Museum, she worked as an archivist in special collections at research libraries with a focus on collection management and preservation. She received her bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University and her master’s degree in history and archival management from New York University, where she also worked as their first Preservation Archivist. Jennifer currently serves on the steering committee of the New Orleans Preservation Coalition, a group focused on advocacy and education in disaster response, and preservation of culture and heritage in the city.
