Compete for WWII knowledge supremacy at The National World War II Museum Quiz Nite

NEW ORLEANS (July 30, 2008) – Calling all World War II buffs and armchair historians! Put your knowledge of the war that changed the world to the test or compete for bragging rights over your friends at The National World War II Museum’s Quiz Nite.

This twice annual event pits teams of four against one another for prizes and World War II knowledge supremacy. Come as a team or we’ll pair you up with a group. Participation is $20 for the general public and $10 for Museum members. Enjoy refreshments and a cash bar.

The event begins at 6:30 pm on Friday, August 15, 2008. Seating is limited. Pre-registration is required. For more information or to reserve your spot, call 504-527-6012 x 229.

Quiz Nite is part of the Museum’s Stars & Stripes Summer, a summer-long tribute to the American Spirit featuring free Sunday Swing dance lessons and musical performances and discounted admission for Louisiana residents. Enjoy the special exhibitions Real to Reel; Hollywood and WWII and Schindler, both on display through August 31.
