From the West
Take I-10 East. At the I-10/ 610 split, bear right to stay on I-10 East. Continue onto US-90 Bus. West. Take the Carondelet St. exit. At the base of the exit ramp, turn left onto St. Charles Avenue and continue under the bridge, toward Lee Circle. Take the first right off the roundabout onto Higgins Drive. You will see The National WWII Museum in front of you. The main entrance is on Higgins between Camp Street and Magazine Street. See information on parking below.
From the East
As you come into the downtown New Orleans area, you will need to follow the signs for the West Bank Expressway. Take a slight left to merge onto US-90 Bus. East (you will have to pay a $1 toll) to the Greater New Orleans Bridge (GNO). Cross the GNO and get in the right lane. Take the Camp Street exit. At the base of the Camp Street exit ramp, you will see The National WWII Museum in front of you. The main entrance is on Higgins Drive between Camp Street and Magazine Street. From the South
Take Highway 90 East to the Greater New Orleans Bridge (GNO). Cross the GNO and get in the right lane. Take the Camp Street exit. At the base of the Camp Street exit ramp, you will see The National WWII Museum in front of you. The main entrance is on Higgins Drive between Camp Street and Magazine Street. From the North
Follow I-55 south and then take I-10 east. Follow I-10 East for 23.6 Miles. At the I-10/ I-610 split, bear right to stay on I-10 East. Continue onto US-90 Bus. West. Take the Carondelet St. exit. At the base of the exit ramp, turn left onto St. Charles Avenue and continue under the bridge, toward Lee Circle. Take the first right off the roundabout onto Higgins Drive. From the Northshore
Follow the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway to the south shore and then take I-10 east. At the I-10/ I-610 split, bear right to stay on I-10 East. Continue onto US-90 Bus. West. Take the Carondelet St. exit. At the base of the exit ramp, turn left onto St. Charles Avenue and continue under the bridge, toward Lee Circle. Take the first right off the roundabout onto Higgins Drive. You will see The National WWII Museum in front of you. The main entrance is on Higgins between Camp Street and Magazine Street. Parking
The Museum has one paid parking lot on Magazine Street, across from the theater, with entrances from Andrew Higgins and Magazine. There is no charge to park after 3:00 pm. Additionally, there are several other paid parking lots in the neighborhood not owned by the Museum.
Special Note for Buses
The bus loading and unloading lane is behind the Museum on Magazine Street, on either side of Higgins Drive. From St. Charles Avenue, turn right onto Higgins Drive, take the first left onto Camp Street, the next right onto St. Joseph Street and then another immediate right onto Magazine Street. The bus lane is on the right side. Bus parking is available approximately two blocks away under the interstate overpass, on the left side of Magazine Street.
