Just about every American family has at least one family member who helped win World War II. Perhaps it was your father, uncle or grandfather who signed up or was recruited to enlist soon after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Maybe your mother or grandmother rolled up her sleeves and went to work alongside legions of “Rosie the Riveters” who turned peacetime factories into the Arsenal of Democracy that helped win World War II.
Whatever you personal connection to the valiant and victorious World War II generation, you must be proud of that legacy.
