For the World War II buff or Museum fan who has seen it all, the Museum offers the ultimate VIP experience — the Behind the Lines and Call of Duty tours. Guided by a Museum curator, tours offer a rare opportunity to don white gloves and get up close and personal with World War II artifacts.

Behind the Lines VIP Tour:

This personal three-hour tour includes a look inside the Museum’s Sherman tank, an examination of artifacts in the Museum’s vault and a visit to the large artifacts storage area. The tour includes a sneak peek at several special items earmarked for inclusion in the Museum’s upcoming expansion.

Tours are available at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm seven days a week. Maximum group size is six people. All tours must be booked 72 hours in advance.

This tour is not suitable for children under 14.

Cost:
Adults (groups of 2–4): $225 per person
Adults (single person tour): $250
Students age 14–18: $200 per person
Museum Members (groups of 2–4): $200 per person
(Tour price includes regular Museum admission)

Call of Duty VIP Tour:

Today many people have learned about the weapons of World War II from movies, television, books and video games but few people have had the opportunity to see them up close. This hour-long tour, personally conducted by a Museum curator, offers guests an opportunity to examine and handle pistols, rifles, sub-machine guns and machine guns from the United States, Great Britain, Germany, Japan and the Soviet Union.

Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras to take photos. The exact selection of what will be available for inspection and handling is subject to change depending on the Museum’s exhibition needs.

Tours are available at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm, seven days a week. Maximum group size is 4 people. All tours must be booked 72 hours in advance. This tour is not suitable for children under 14.

Cost:
Adults (groups of 2–4): $125 per person
Adults (single person tour): $150
Students age 14–18: $100 per person
Museum Members (groups of 2–4): $100 per person
(Tour price includes regular Museum admission)

New Orleans History and Heritage Tour:

From Andrew Jackson to Andrew Higgins: Experience all the best that The National WWII Museum has to offer as well as the rich history and culture of New Orleans with the Museum’s newest travel opportunity.

Join us March 1 – 4, 2012, for an itinerary that includes touring the galleries of the Museum, the new Kushner Restoration Pavilion, the 4-D film Beyond All Boundaries and the delicious American Sector restaurant and Soda Shop. Outside the Museum, participants will tour one of the nation’s most historic cities and enjoy world-famous New Orleans cuisine. Highlights include a dinner cruise on the Mississippi River aboard the Steamboat Natchez, shopping and exploring amidst the architectural treasures of the French Quarter and an optional tour of the Chalmette Battlefield.
