THE NATIONAL WORLD WAR II MUSEUM WELCOMES YOUR MILITARY REUNION!

The National World War II Museum welcomes military reunions from all branches of service nationwide.

Through a partnership with The Reunion Network and other reunion-friendly hotels, restaurants, and attractions, The National World War II Museum is pleased to offer you and your reunion buddies a unique and memorable experience.

Below is a sample itinerary for a reunion group:

Day 1

Afternoon Arrive at hotel.
5:00 pm-7:00 pm  Opening reception at the hotel.
7:00 pm-10:00 pm  Enjoy dinner at a New Orleans style restaurant.

Day 2

7:00 am-8:00 am        Breakfast at hotel 
9:00 am-12:00 pm  Tour The National World War II Museum and The Confederate Museum of the Civil War.
12:00 pm-1:00 pm  Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in a private room at The National World War II Museum. 
2:00 pm-4:00pm  Tour the historic Garden District by bus then head to Blaine Kern’s Mardi Gras World to see where Mardi Gras is made. 
6:00 pm-8:00 pm  Enjoy dinner at one of New Orleans’ many restaurants.

Day 3

8:00 am-9:00 am  Meet at Café Du Monde for coffee and beignets.
9:00 am-12:00 pm  Tour the historic St. Louis Cathedral, the Cabildo and the Presbytere on Jackson Square
12:00 pm-2:00 pm  Enjoy a New Orleans style cooking class with lunch at the New Orleans School of Cooking.
2:00 pm-4:00 pm  Return to the hotel for afternoon cocktails. 
7:00 pm-10:00 pm Attend closing banquet at the hotel.

Day 4              

Depart New Orleans
