For the last ten years, The National World War II Museum has made it a top priority to collect, preserve and share the stories of the men who fought and won The War That Changed The World.
With 900 World War II veterans leaving us each day, our mission has never been more urgent.
By sharing their stories, we honor and recognize the sacrifices these heroes made on our behalf and we teach current and future generations the values of teamwork, courage and sacrifice.
Stories like that of legendary Navy pilot CDR Alex Vraciu (Ret.) and the six Japanese dive bombers he downed during the Great Marianas Turkey Shoot.
We want heroes like CDR Vraciu to enjoy the Museum that honors them at no cost, and you can make this happen.
The Museum receives no government funding for our operating expenses, so your contribution today sponsors at least one of these courageous Americans and helps maintain our world-class exhibits and collections.
They paid for our freedom, let’s pay for their visit!
