Higgins Boat
A reproduction LCVP (Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel) or Higgins Boat, built from original WWII plans by former Higgins employees is displayed at the museum.
Higgins Hardhat
A helmet of a Higgins Industries worker is on display at The National World War II Museum. Higgins Industries was located in New Orleans and built the Higgins Boats used during the D-Day invasions.
 
Japanese Flag
Japanese soldiers carried personal flags inscribed with the names of loved ones or patriotic greetings. This flag is on display at The National World War II Museum.

Plane TBM
The torpedo bomber plane (TBM) that now hangs in the Louisiana Memorial Pavilion of the Museum is a replica of the plane flown by Louisiana veteran Commodore Thomas J. Lupo.
Pavilion The Louisiana Memorial Pavilion makes a spectacular location for Museum-sponsored and private functions.
 
Poster
From the exhibits at The National World War II Museum, the propaganda poster of the Tuskeegee Airman depicts the slogan, "Keep us Flying."
Race & War
Artifacts, posters, videos and interactive touch screens help audiences learn about race issues and warfare in the Pacific Theater of World War II.
 
Uniforms
The typical uniform and weapons of a German Infantryman and an American Assualt Infantryman in 1944 on display at the Museum.

Two veterans visit The National World War II Museum and the recreated LCVP Higgins Boat in the Lousiana Memorial Pavilion.
