American Sector Restaurant + Bar is the ideal spot to stop for lunch, dinner, happy hour, or a snack between exhibits at The National WWII Museum. Executive Chef Eric Cook serves a unique Victory Garden-to-Table menu, featuring locally grown vegetables and herbs, as well as hand-selected meats, seafood, and dairy products from local and artisanal producers. The menu is inspired by both regional and Southern favorites, such as the Crispy Oyster “BLT”, Shrimp & Grits, and all-American standards including the Victory Burger and Fried Chicken Confit. The menu includes Victory Garden salads, daily soups, snacks and small plates, sandwiches, entrée provisions, and sweets. Also offered is a seasonal prix-fixe 3-course Allied Victory Menu celebrating the cuisine of the countries involved in World War II.

Happy Hour

Our popular happy hour takes place daily from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm and features half-priced drinks. Join us for our signature handcrafted cocktails and old-world beer and wine selections. Linger at the bar or step outside and enjoy the evening on our patio.

Special Events

Dinner with a Curator is an evening of dinner and history hosted by The American Sector Restaurant + Bar culinary team and The National WWII Museum professionals. Guests participate in discussion on a featured topic related to World War II which is interpreted through the Museum's collection and a theme-inspired 4-course dinner paired with beverage specials.


The Museum has one paid parking lot on Magazine Street, across from The American Sector, with entrances from Andrew Higgins and Magazine. Parking rates are:

• 7 hours – $10.00
• 12 hours – $15.00
• 24 hours – $40.00

Additional paid lots and metered street parking are located throughout the area.
