Join The National WWII Museum, Eat Local New Orleans, and The American Sector Restaurant + Bar as we celebrate Victory Gardens during the season of eating locally. This year we’re highlighting the Museum’s newest special exhibition, Soldier | Artist: Trench Art in World War II, which will be open throughout the event.

We also welcome a number of local distillers who will be competing to create the best garden-fresh cocktail prepared with local ingredients inspired by both WWII victory gardens and this year’s theme, The Art of the Cocktail. Sample the garden-fresh libations, learn how to make them at home, and vote for your favorite cocktail. The best cocktail selected by participants will be served at The American Sector and upcoming victory garden programming.

This event requires pre-registration. For more information call 504-528-1944 x 484.

Cost: $10 for Eat Local Challengers, Master Gardeners, and Museum Members; $15 for General Public.
